PLN: Week 3- Post 6

I read a recent article titled "Teens Killed in Early Morning Crash" written by Kirk Mitchell. This article came from the Dever Post blog. This article was written in reguards to 2 teenagers who were killed early this morning in a auto accident when their Subaru station wagon drifted into oncoming traffic and crashed head-on into another car.

This article relates to me personally and to all other teens my age because we are or will soon be learning how to drive and in one very short year we will recieve our drivers license. This article really made me realize how important it is to be aware of your surroundings while you are driving. Because this accident is still under investigation there is no obvious reason for why the Subaru drifted into oncoming traffic; however it still shows us that safety is very iportant when you are on he road.

This article also relates to the world around us because this sort of thing happens a lot, but everytime it does there is always someone saying, "Oh that's never going to happen to me." But next thing you know it does so I think that this article is just a reminder that safety is very important on the road.
